Ramune, ne?
As a holiday treat, I bought myself a 12-pack of Ramune soda.

It's the only children's drink I can think of that contains a choking hazard intentionally built in; there is a glass marble plugging up the top of the bottle. If you can figure out the puzzle, the marble falls onto two little glass rails where it is trapped in the top chamber, and the liquid can flow around it and into your mouth. There are fun flavors such as wasabi, kimchi, bubble gum, and curry.

Instructions on opening:

1. Peel off the seal. Lift off the green cap and push down the center to release the opener
2. Place the opener onto the top of the Ramune bottle and press down firmly with your palm
3. This will open the bottle by dislodging the stopper. Keep pressing for 5 seconds
4. Remove the green opener from the bottle and discard

And who doesn't love a creamy colon?

I hate a soda bottle that's smarter than I am.

Should I bring some kimchi-flavoured soda to share for O/our Thanksgiving dinner, Sir?

it actually predates bubble tea by several decades.

I'm rooting for Gojira next time.

I adore ramune, and I find it amusing that it still confounds some of the people I work with. :: laugh ::

At first I thought: "What brand is he drinking?? It doen't even say 'ramune' on the label!!!" ...

but then I realized you had the picture mirrored ^^;;;

I bought one of those a couple months ago and it was a slightly WTF experience getting it open. It was the green one.

I want the HELLO KITTY one!

Welcome to the world of Japanese sweets :o) Can't say I've tried curry flavor Ramune but the wasabi one sounds good for some reason...

I love shoving a dark chocolate pocky up some colon and eating it off one by one...

Curry, Wasabi, and Kimchi flavored Ramune??? That is so so wrong!!

on the other hand - creamy collon...delish!

Natsukashi - sadly I've only found two flavors here at a local supermarket so i guess I'll have to look around a bit more.

KimChi? Yikes, but I still want to try one. :-D
