Open the brown cardboard box, Hal...

It's interesting to look at my Amazon recommendations to see what kind of person I am. I know it's based off of things I've purchased and my wish list, but still sometimes it's eerie to see how acccurate it is. Here are the top topics Amazon things I would be interested in:

Techno music
Transaction analysis
Alternative music
Graphic novels and comic books
Science fiction
Modern art
Punk music
British sitcoms on DVD
Gay-themed books and movies
UNIX books
Pop-up books
Cartoons and anime
BDSM and leather sex
80's synth pop
Computer games
Men working (Dirty Jobs, Ice Road Truckers, Axe Men, Modern Marvels, et. al.)

Maybe I should just list all of these on any dating site that asks what I'm into.

I bought one (one!) Sondheim CD, and now Amazon thinks I'm a theater queen.

Buying one (one!) musical CD was your first mistake.

Yeah, it's like a sickness. One the way from Amazon are "[title of show]" and "Company". Hope I like them... it gives me something to listen to at work. In high school I played piano for a local community theater, so I've done them all: West Side Story, The Fantasticks, Guys & Dolls, Godspell, and a dozen others. I also love a musical called "Chess" that the two guys from ABBA wrote. I want to see that one live someday.

I dated a theatre queen for a while who dragged me to see Chess. I've seen Company, but only because my cousin, a professional actress, was in a production of it. She got to play the Elaine Stritch role. I was in Godspell *shudder* in college.

I am a bad fag. I don't like most musical theatre.

But ya are Blanche, ya are!

LOL, there are a few musicals I like... but not many.
I'm gay, but I'm not that gay! :)

My boyfriend was once part of a conversation in which the discussion turned to musicals. When he said it wasn't a subject of much interest for him, one of the other guys said "What kind of gay man are you?"

He replied, deadpan: "I'm the ass-fucking kind."

getting to know you

It's too bad eBay doesn't allow you to go back and review all 3,201 purchases....

Re: getting to know you

May i see Your Amazon wish list someday, Sir? i know You have one... i saw it when You borrowed my computer that time, and Amazon thought You were still logged in.

I hate having the stuff I want 2,600 miles away.

Amazon ships, Sir. You just need to pay postage!

Actually.. it's FedEx that ships.. and I don't believe they accept live mudcubs as cargo. :-{)

Hmmm ... evil idea coming to mind!

I sure have enjoyed reading this story lately:

I usually don't make it thru reading a chapter before... something happens and I have to stop

Big Brother is watching you...and his name is "Amazon"!!! :-)

wow. i did not know we had so much in common
